What do these awards mean?

“This year was a major rebuilding year for the team. It was my first year on the team and I really didn’t know what to expect. I learned a lot really quickly and as most of the team was new, we all got to know each other pretty quickly. Next year I know we’re going to do better than ever.” – Colby C.

BotsBurgh competed with a 3-Wheel “Kiwi” drive this year and is the only team in the state, and one of few in the world, to do this. Our robot included auto goal tracking using April Tag Tracking with Limelight and both optical and physical odometery, as well as a turret that would automatically change hood angles and speed to adjust for movement and the position of the goal.We used a belt to pulls balls up into the turret for consistant and fast shooting in combination with a fast and adjustable intake, allowing us to be a considerable player on the field. This was BotsBurgh’s highest achieving year yet with 3 Inspire awards, as well as other various achievements such as attending an international invite-only premiere event and being the finalist alliance captian in the first competition of the season.
