We worked with the South Hills Interfaith Movement to give a presentation to children about FIRST Robotics and got hands on with Sphero INDI. The kids had to figure out how each color made the robot move, and then they were presented with challenges that they had to work together to solve.

Botsburgh visited the Chinmaya Amarnath Temple in Mars, PA to speak with kids from the Pittsburgh Tamil Sangam about robotics! We introduced them what FIRST is and explained the different competitions like FLL and FTC, and showed how robots use sensors to interact with their environment. It was an exciting chance to get them interested in STEM and share how they can get involved in local FIRST teams!
